Mardi Gras is in full swing at Universal, which means we have been spending the past 3 weekends there for the concerts. Because we have annual passes we get in to all these concerts basically free. Totally worth going. Besides going to Orlando on the weekends we have been working hard and waiting for Spring Break. I know in Missouri it has been cold and snowy, well here it has been chilly. But today it is beautiful weather, 75 degrees and sunny. Can't get much better than that. :-)
Last night we were at Universal at a Kelly Clarkson concert, the next blog post will be about that. But for now, here is pictures from the past couple weekends.

Universal Entrance
First night of Mardi Gras
She was so fun to watch, she was having a blast performing.
singing her country songs (who knew)
GREASE songs!!!
Singing along WITH Olivia Newton John to Grease songs
her band and back up singers
Brian's gift to me (Staci) for Valentine's Day
2nd week
She was entertaining
Every body look to the left
Her facial expressions were hilarious
On Sunday, we went to Tampa for Brian to take the GRE test
These trees were by the testing place and I thought they looked amazing.
We had heard of a power plant that hundreds of manatees go to in the winter, so because we were in Tampa we went to check it out.
Apparently it was a good day to go. We had to wait in traffic to just get to the overflow parking lot.
Then we walked a trail to get to the manatee viewing area
getting closer
This is on a walk way that goes out into the canal
All the bumps are manatees!
I was being a manatee....
People on the viewing area
again ALL the bumps are manatees
The water temperature here is 80 degrees. This is because of the power plant and the reason hundreds of manatees flock to the area.
It was spectacular.
some were right next to the deck
seriously....sooooo many
it was hard not to just stand there all day
how can you not love these creatures?!
we have only seen maybe one or two in the wild before....this was incredible.
smelling manatee breath...smells like grass
long day in Tampa and now back to Universal for another concert! we are excited
We have seen them before and they are hilarious
We took hundreds of pictures at the manatee viewing area, your welcome for not showing you all of them. Stay warm, Missouri!
