Wow-oh-wow this weekend has been eventful! First let us tell you about getting a new camera. Which is the least uneventful thing we did, but still very emotionally confusing for Staci.
I (Staci), have an amazing camera that I have taken all over the place and have taken tens of thousands pictures with it. I love love love it! But...the flash stopped working. So we could only take pictures that didn't need flash and use Brian's stinky point-n'-shoot camera all the other times.
Not acceptable.
We tracked down a camera repair store (luckily right down the road from us). Mr. Camera Repair Man said because the camera is older it would cost $140. Yes, Brian was completely willing to pay that because I love the camera so much, but we knew what we had to do...
Buy a new camera.
I sadly agreed to this, but said I would not use it all the time. My heart still belongs to my camera.
So, Saturday we headed to the closet BestBuy to get a new camera. Much more adventures went with that day...stay tuned until tomorrow for that. After looking at all the cameras (while my camera was in my purse with me---I felt like I was cheating on my camera) I decided to choose the updated version of mine. Brian said we are keeping it "in the family". We ended up with a Sony Cybershot, same as mine, but a sleeker and newer and can do more. It is very cool.
But...my heart will forever love MY camera.
